The landscape design of House Zungu is contemporary and low maintenance. The plants selected are mostly indigenous and selected for their textures and colours, to create a pleasing backdrop to the modern home. Two water features are included in the design. A water feature with bubbly fountains was proposed for the entrance and a calming water-lily pond was incorporated in the garden when looking out from the dining room window.
